7 April 1826

Isambard Kingdom Brunel became ill and was taken home. He was off work for 3 weeks. The Tunnel is now 50 feet long.

9 April 1806

At five minutes to one in the morning, Isambard Kingdom was born in Portsea, Hampshire..

11. April 1827

Isambard Kingdom Brunel celebrated his 21st birthday, with 9 of his friends, by having a dinner beneath the Thames, in the Western arch of the Thames Tunnel.

14 April 1758.

Jean-Charles Brunel (father of Marc I Brunel ) married Marie-Marguerite Millard, his first wife.

15 April 1802

Bentham recommended to the Admiralty that Marc Brunel's Blockmaking machinery should be installed in the dockyard at
Portsmouth.
